The reason....

Before I get into tearing apart the news, I want to mention a little bit about why I have the blog and what I hope it will do.

First of all, it's for class. Not class like being classy, but for school. I have never really been in to blogging, and I get questioned for it. I don't mind writing (or in this case typing), but I haven't really expected anyone to sit back and read my mindless babble on-line. I figured, if anyone was in fact reading my mindless babble, they must be really, really, really bored.

Anyway, since part of the course requirements for my class this semester is to participate in our own, or nationally recognized blog, I opted for my own blog and will probably check up on some of the others too throughout the semester.

What will happen after this semester you ask?
Who knows? Will I keep up with it? Possibly.

Either way I am taking this blog very seriously, and will be discussing a lot of news-related issues that are hitting the media and hitting it hard.

Other then that, I may give a few updates here and there about certain topics that may or may not be newsworthy.

Anyway, to keep this brief my next blog will probably be coming within the next week or so.
